a friend has forwarded me your conversation with Mr.Seiffer and i am looking into your site and blogs for the first time.
I live in Cairo…as i have done for 15 years. i am a professional artist, a visual expressionist. i began doing spirit drawings here for others in the recent past. this technique for being open to the creative force, being receptive really, began in my own artwork in egypt.
ancient artworks are alive..they are living art! its through ancient art that i began to see how art opens a dimension in space to see life at its underlying mystery and truth. through my own life journey in egypt i learned the way to opened to the creative energy to flow through one’s self, not to hold the creative force externally ,egotistically imposing one’s will on expression. in this way the artist is the medium (in all senses of that word) of artistic expression, of the creative power.
i have recently written an article entitled “Living Art, Living…….Art”
its a cronicle of the experience of “getting the message” from a 5,000 year old sculpture of an egyptian scribe.
