Book: Transcending the Speed of Light

Life appears these days to be moving at the speed of light and gaining momentum each day as new discoveries reveal that electrons may be able to spin faster than the speed of light, thus challenging Einstein’s theory. The future has science and spirituality working in tandem to unravel the mysteries of the universe. Mystics have proclaimed these universal truths for eons, and now the time has come where the general consciousness of humanity is open to receiving this knowledge as we shift from the third dimension, into the 4th and 5th dimension. During this new age of enlightenment in which we are living, science is beginning to catch up and catch on to what the mystics have been teaching and are discovering tangible ways to study these teachings through quantum physics.

This Friday, December 18th on the Explore Your Spirit with Kala show, I’m speaking with Dr. Marc Seifer, author of: Transcending the Speed of Light: Consciousness, Quantum Physics and the Fifth Dimension. Dr. Seifer shares his study of the new scientific understanding of consciousness and the mind as a fifth dimension of reality, including the existence of the fifth dimension–one of mind, where time is transcended and the barrier of the speed of light is actually a gateway demarking the fifth dimension. In his book, Transcending the Speed of Light, with a foreword by Dr. Stanley Krippner, Marc Seifer contends that the inadequacy of four-dimensional models to account for our experience of mental phenomena points to the consciousness of the mind as a higher organizing principle, a fifth dimension where thoughts are as real and quantifiable as our familiar physical world. He shows that because thought enables us to move backward and forward through time–reflecting on the past and making plans for the future–this fifth dimension of mind breaks the laws of relativity, thereby transcending the speed of light. His extensive study of this fifth dimension ranges from relativity and ether theory to precognition, telepathy, and synchronicity, all from the perspective of the conscious universe.

Kala Ambrose speaks with authors, artists, explorers and researchers, delving into topics of ancient mysteries, metaphysical explorations and new discoveries from science and spiritual arenas. In this interview, Kala speaks with William Gladstone, author of The Twelve, a novel about 2012 and the Mayan Prophecies.

Kala: William, you’ve written a novel entitled The Twelve, based upon the Mayan Calendar and the prophecies regarding the date of December 21st, 2012. It seems that everyone has a varying opinion on what will occur in December 2012. What is your prediction?

William: There will be a major vibrational shift on December 21,2012. However it will not be the end of the world as we know it. Only those already prepared and vibrating at a higher level will actually experience the subtle change. This vibrational shift has already started and will continue for many years. Within ten to twenty years major changes will have occurred and begin to be perceived by the majority of people.Like any prediction this is not a certainty but highly probable. The Mayan as do most indigenous peoples believe that human beings have free will. The future is positive but in the end up to the free will of each human being and all human beings collectively.

Kala: The main character in your book, Max, has a near death experience in his teen years in which he sees twelve names but can’t remember them when he awakes. How does this vision impact Max throughout his life?

William: Max never forgets the vividness of this experience. However eight years pass before he meets the first of the twelve names. It takes Max more than 45 years to meet all twelve names. The more names he meets the more he realizes how important his near death experience is.

Kala: Each of the twelve people in Max’s vision represent a different culture and a different religion, the twelve tribes… Do you feel that each “tribe” has an important piece of the puzzle, that if brought together, would answer some of the greatest supernatural and metaphysical mysteries that scholars and mystics have pondered throughout the ages?

William: This is the absolute truth and supported by legends from many prominent world religions and spiritual traditions.

Kala: Some people believe that humanity is destroying the planet and causing global warming, while others believe that the earth has cycles and is in a warming trend cycle, which also happens to be coinciding with an active solar flare cycle from the Sun. What are your thoughts on earth changes and humanity’s role in the changes?

William: The two are interrelated. No doubt the earth itself has its own cycle. However it is also clear that human technology and behavior is contributing to global warming and other climate change.

Kala: In the story line, Max knows from childhood that “there was a purpose to his life and an important destiny that he had been called upon to fulfill”. Do you believe that everyone has a purpose and destiny to fulfill in their life and if so, how do they go about finding it?

William: Everyone has a destiny and a purpose. There is no easy formula for finding out what that destiny and purpose might be. For those fortunate to be living their purpose they know when they are acting to their highest and greatest potential and purpose. For those not so fortunate I encourage everyone to be honest at all times and to live in integrity with compassion and concern for all living beings. Anyone who lives a life of commitment and purpose to the challenges and joys given to them in each moment of life will ultimately live their destiny. An individual’s destiny may be nothing more than experiencing joy and love and sharing those emotions with others. No one knows for certain their destiny and true purpose until their life is complete.

Kala: What has writing this book taught you? Did the journey take you places that were unexpected?

William: I discovered my own inner wisdom. It was not until I read the finished manuscript that I really appreciated what a magical life I have lived and what the true purpose of my life might be. There is no question that the individual insights that the main character Max Doff learns throughout his life are useful to millions of people.There is a certain magic to The Twelve which can open any reader to the deeper realizations of reality and spiritual wisdom. Most importantly the novel points to a practical solution of how each human being can contribute to the well being of the world whatever their religion or belief or non belief in the significance of 2012.

Stephanie South is the author of 2012: Biography of a Time Traveler, which is the authorized biography of José Arguelles, the man who first introduced the date December 21, 2012 into mass consciousness with The Mayan Factor. The initiator of the Harmonic Convergence global peace meditation of 1987, Arguelles is also the founder of the annual Whole Earth Festival (1970) in California, and one of the originators of the Earth Day concept.

Recently, I had the opportunity to ask Stephanie some questions about the 2012 book, Jose’ Arguelles and what’s to come in 2012.  Enjoy the interview between Stephanie and I, presented here below….   All the best, *~Kala~*

KA: Stephanie, how did you meet and become involved with Jose’ Arguelles?

SS: In hindsight, it was purely a matter of destiny. As it actually happened a man I had been involved with who was the head of Padmasambhava Center in Portland, Oregon invited me to the 28th annual Whole Earth Festival in 1998. He had a strong intuition to go there to specifically honor Jose as being a terton, or ¨hidden treasure finder¨ in Tibetan terms.  This meant the discoverer of hidden or lost teachings. This was all new to me as at the time I did not know what a terton was, nor had I heard of Jose Arguelles. As it turned out, Jose had started the Whole Earth Festival in 1970 as a prelude to the first Earth Day.

After hearing Jose speak about time and synchronicity, something clicked inside of me and I immediately began to study his works. A few years later, I began to assist him in editing and organizational work, but it wasn´t until 2002 that this entire process began.

KA: At the age of 14, Jose Arguelles experienced what he describes as a life altering vision while on the Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan, Mexico. Can you explain what he learned during this time?

SS: He learned that there was a higher mind behind the world of appearance. He experienced the cosmic essence behind ¨things.¨  While standing at the top of the pyramid he understood that the minds that conceived of and created these amazing pyramid structures were vastly different than the minds that created modern civilization. He vowed to find what this knowledge was and bring it back to the modern world.

KA: What theory do you ascribe to as to how the Mayan people created such elaborate calendars?

SS: I think they could create such elaborate calendars because they were operating with a different perception of time than how we think of it. They did not have telescopes or any other astrological equipment, yet they knew the movement and position of different stars and were able to calculate large cycles both in the future and in the past. This was due to an advanced mathematical system that underlies calendars. I  highly recommend reading Jose Arguelles´ book, The Mayan Factor for more information about this.

KA: Can you briefly explain Jose’s theories on the Harmonic Convergence as well as what we can expect on December 21, 2012…

SS: For Jose, the Harmonic Convergence of 1987 was the fulfillment of a prophecy that opened a 25-year portal leading to the Harmonic Convergence of 2012. This was a prophecy of Quetzalcoatl that defined a cycle of time that began in 843 AD and ended on August 16, 1987.

Jose received the dates for the Harmonic Convergence in the early 1970s from Tony Shearer, a Lakota journalist and poet. Then in 1983 Jose had an amazing vision of an ¨Earth Surrender Rite¨, which would become known as the Harmonic Convergence.

The Harmonic Convergence marked the first time that human beings simultaneously coordinated their prayers, meditations and ceremonies at sacred sites around the planet. Many didn´t even know why, but they felt a type of magnetic pull. It resulted in the largest unified moment of collective synchronization.

According to Jose, the Harmonic Convergence of 2012 is all about collective synchronization and the shift of timing frequencies opening us into a harmonious new cycle.

KA:  Arguelles discusses the “telepathic nature of time”. Explain this concept as well as his theory that humanity is living in “artificial time” and how this is affecting our environment and civilization as a whole.

SS: The simplest way to understand the ¨telepathic nature of time¨ is through the experience of synchronicity.  Synchronicity is the key. Jose discovered that time is actually a frequency—the frequency of synchronization.  So when we experience synchronicity, like when someone calls that you were just thinking about, this is a direct experience of the telepathic nature of time. This means that your inner experience and your outer experience were in alignment or synchronized in that moment.

According to the Law of Time, which Jose discovered in 1989, synchronicity is our natural state. What keeps us from experiencing synchronicity all the time is that we are living in artificial time.

Artificial time, he discovered, is created by two instruments: the mechanical clock and the Gregorian calendar, with its irregular measure.  Together, these two instruments create a timing frequency known as the 12:60 (12-month calendar, 60 minute clock). This is artificial time. The whole of our civilization runs on this frequency unconsciously. But the rest of nature lives in natural time. The frequency of natural time is 13:20 (based on the harmonic mathematics of the Mayan calendar). In this frequency time is art and synchronicity and telepathy are the norm. Jose has discovered that we can shift to the 13:20 frequency by learning to live again according to the cycles of nature.  The 13 Moon, 28-day calendar is the main instrument he advocates to shift frequencies.

KA:  What is the Noosphere II Project?

SS: The Noosphere II Project is an experiment in time to aid in a positive planetary shift in frequency.  Noosphere can be likened to the sphere of mind of the planet. It is also the name given for the coming stage of evolution. So the Noosphere II project is an experiment of different meditations and visualizations to actually realize and bring about this next stage. It is about the cultivation of the mind and exercises in maintaining a lucid state of continuing consciousness within the natural 13:20 timing frequency. KA: Jose Arguelles discusses the Law of Time and the 13 Moon Calendar that we should follow. How can we begin to live following the 13 Moon Calendar while also needing to function in the current time frame set for work, school etc?

SS: You can just begin to follow it along with the Gregorian calendar. All the 13-Moon, 28 day calendars have the Gregorian dates, so you just find the Gregorian date and then pay attention also to the 13 moon date of the day. Remember that the Maya used many calendars simultaneously (up to 17!).  It is all about synchronicity.

The 13-Moon, 28-day calendar is like a lens to shift your frequency and perception of time. It basically gives you a portal to another experience of  reality. The mathematics behind this calendar are the mathematics of the fourth dimension.  It´s a good experiment to try following it for one moon (28 days) and note any shifts in your perceptions and increase of synchronicities that might occur.

KA: Has the Law of Time affected the current world Economic Crisis?

SS: According to the Law of Time, the economic crisis is a function of a system based on artificial time. Nothing artificial can last. The main distinction of the Law of Time is that we are shifting the paradigm from ¨time is money¨ to ¨time is art.¨ The question is, how do we make a positive transition to a new system in alignment with the laws of nature so there is abundance and equality for all?

KA: Through your study and work with Jose Arguelles, what have you learned and what would you advise people to do to shift their consciousness before 2012 and after?

SS: I feel Jose´s life is powerful example of holding to your inner vision and dream even though the world may be telling you otherwise. The main thing I have learned from Jose is the importance of discipline, focus and the cultivation of the mind. Through the training of the mind, we are able to experience more easily the rich textured meaning of this reality as well as other realities. Jose has brought through many ¨time science¨ tools that, when studied and applied, have palpable effects on the mind and consciousness.

My advice to others through this time of transition is to find your joy—find what connects you most directly with your essence–this is where the treasure lies. Also it is so important that each of us take full responsibility for ourselves and our reality. This means no longer blaming others for anything. And also forgiving everyone for everything, including ourselves!  Everything we see in the outer world is a manifestation of our collective inner world, so as each of us shifts our inner world, then our outer world changes!  Also I highly recommend a vegetarian, vegan or raw vegan diet to help raise our frequency along with living in the natural cycles of time.

KA: Tell us more about you and your work.

SS: Currently I am working with Jose on completing the Book of the Timespace, volume V of the Cosmic History Chronicles. I am also working on the Star Travelers13-Moon Almanac of Synchronicity. This is an easy-to-use introduction to the 13-Moon, 28-day calendar that people can follow day-to-day along with the Gregorian calendar to begin to increase their synchronicity and shift their frequency. One of the most powerful teachings that I share with students, is the knowledge that the only constant in life is change. We are on this earth plane to experience change on a daily, weekly, yearly and sometimes hourly basis. Each moment, our cells change, our thoughts change, everything changes!

Dear Ones, this time is what we have been waiting for and working towards. We are all here to work in our own way to make the world a better place; through our thoughts, words, deeds and actions. Right now, there is great change occurring. This is not something to fear, but rather to embrace. The entire global world is awakening to the fact that we are all connected and dependent upon each other. As the economy here in the US has suffered, the changes are felt around the world in other markets and businesses and from there to each person who works in their chosen field. We all rely on each other in one form or another. What is also changing is the realization on a major scale that greed and self absorption can longer rule as it leads to self destruction. This is seen in the companies which are failing and the leaders who navigated these murk filled waters.

The political debates are all based on the fact that we need change or reform, with both parties agreeing that things can not and should not continue as they have. This in its own way is revolutionary, a shared understanding albeit from different persepectives, but still an understanding that the time is now to evolve. All is being brought up into the light to be looked upon and changed… from the environment and global warming, to greed and overconsumption to an emphasis on health care and thinking about each person rather than desensitizing humanity as a sequence of numbers.

Around me I see wondrous change occuring, record numbers of Americans are registering to vote and are contacting their representatives to speak about changes they want to see. All the things you have studied, how to create abundance, how to live in joy in the moment, regardless of what is occuring around you is being brought to the forefront at this time to reflect upon. This is the evolutionary time we have been waiting for, the time to live and create and to bring the energy of gratitude and manifestation into action.

As Ghandi said, “Be the Change You Wish to See In The World”. I explain to students that when we work to create change within ourselves, it’s like cleaning out a closet full of junk. We first have to pull it all out, evaluate it and remove what no longer is of value or works for us. During this process, we create a bigger mess, as we pull everything out and have to sort through it all. This can cause great emotional and mental stress along with physical exertion to create the new change. This work we do within, we are also seeing reflecting around us now, as we are all recognizing that it’s time to clean up our world. As we are doing this, things appear worse before they get better. We’re pulling it all out now to really take a look at what we’ve been doing to the environment, to the economy and to ourselves. You’ve wanted an opportunity to change your world, here it is now. Use all the wisdom you have gained over the years, and don’t succumb to the illusion of fear that is rearing it’s head during this time. As 2012 grows closer, we see the cycle of this time winding down and what was created during this age must be brought to light and scrutinized. Take the good that resulted from this and move forward to create the life you were meant to live. LIke all things, this too shall pass. Use this time wiselfy for self-introspection, go within to see what you need to clean out and remove. Do you connect with the world and all those who are in it? Evaluate what you have and why you have the possesssions that you do… What Defines You… and as I teach and discuss in my book 9 Life Altering Lessons, ask yourself these age old questions…. Who Am I and Why Am I Here? Do you remember the secrets hidden deep within your soul? Perhaps it’s time to explore deeper and look within to find the many reasons you are here in this lifetime.
